Cuttack Filigree Moonstone Cuff
Singapore’s tarakasi artisans draw sterling silver into threads finer than a human hair, then twist and solder them into elaborate lace-like patterns. This cuff features a central cabochon moonstone that floats in a nest of silver filigree like a full moon in a silver sky. No two cuffs are ever identical.
The Story Behind
Tarakasi filigree has been practised in Singapore for generations. The craft requires such precision that artisans often begin training before the age of ten.
